KLE Nokia R&D Lab
The VTU Nokia R&D lab was inaugurated on 13th March, 2010 by Padma Bhushan Dr. V. K. Aatre, former Scientific Advisor to Defense Minister.
The vice chancellor of VTU Prof. H. P. Kincha and Principal of KLESCET Dr. S. C. Pilli were present for the same.
KLE-NOKIA lab is a network of Mobile Innovation Laboratories established under Mobility Research Forum (MRF), where a dedicated faculty member/s along with group of students learn, research, explore and develop mobile applications for smartphones.
The purpose of this lab is for showcasing and sharing our learnings in using Mobile devices and technologies as medium to learn and carry practical applications of mobile technologies.
Mobility Research Forum is today supported by Microsoft’s University Relations Program from Microsoft Mobile Devices group. As a group of universities this Forum has existed since 2006 with the support of Nokia in the past.
Mobility Research Forum is today re-launching its website designed with the focus to increase cross university collaboration and with the help of responsive design the site is aimed to enable access to site using multiple mobile devices
